Joseph E. Brown has been with The Insurance Exchange since 1998 specializing in Commercial Property & Casualty sales and service. In 2003, Joe assumed the responsibility of Vice President of Sales for the agency. In 2006, Joe assumed the role of President and in 2008, he assumed the role of CEO. During his Management & Executive tenure Joe has overseen revenue growth that has tripled the size of the organization.
Prior to joining The Insurance Exchange, Joe spent 13 years enhancing his sales and management skills in the telecommunications industry with MCI Telecommunications Inc. He managed assignments in Sales, Service and Operations.
Joe holds a Property & Casualty license and is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) . He is a graduate of Towson University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration. Joe is actively involved in the insurance industry and represents the agency on several major insurance carrier advisory boards. He is involved with various industry councils and charitable organizations.
