Scott Cancellare has been an Employee Benefits industry expert for over 25 years, specializing in servicing, consulting, and advising his clients on strategic benefit planning, plan administration, cost analysis, vendor analysis and recommendation, employee communication, renewal negotiation and implementation of their Employee Benefit Plans. He is responsible for maintaining, fostering and growing client relationships for mid and large size clients.
He has effectively serviced clients from all industries, located both locally and nationally that are both fully insured and self-funded.
He is known as an aggressive client advocate who has consistently become an extension of his client’s human resources department. Throughout his many years in the industry he has been successful in providing strategic solutions for his clients that result in providing them the most comprehensive benefits package.
Scott is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management as well as many of the local SHRM organizations.
Scott has much industry experience. He joined TIE in October 2016 and had worked with his prior organization for 19 years. He earned a Bachelors degree from the University of Virginia.
Scott lives in Arlington, VA with his wife and daughter. Outside of the office Scott enjoys spending time with his family, following his favorite sports teams and participating in various community activities.
