The Insurance Exchange understands and is the leader in DBA insurance. Defense Base Act was established in 1941 to provide coverage for workers on military bases outside the United States. This act was later amended to provide commercial contracts working with the federal government for non-military projects. The extra amendment added national security. Most OCONUS (outside the U.S) contracts who work with a federal agency of the United States government, whether the military is involved or not, will need DBA coverage.
The Insurance Exchange is a member of the GovConNet Council. The Council is formed by invitation only and is comprised of Government Contracting industry experts who develop GovConNet programs, support VIP instruction, and provide industry specific advocacy.
